| Route description from Avignon Of course all roads lead to St. Martin de Castillon, but coming from Avignon this one is the fastest. At Avignon-Sud (Sortie 24) you leave the A7 and after paying the toll you take road number D973 at the roundabout (direction Cavaillon and Apt). At a certain moment the D973 changes into D22. Keep on following the signs direction Apt. At the crossroads where you can see a brickyard on your left hand, you turn right towards Digne and Apt (N100/D900). From here on you can put your mind to enjoying the beautiful Provencal landscape, because it’s just another half hour drive. Keep on following route number N100/D900 in the direction of Forcalquier, even while passing Apt. After 7 km you will see the signs to Saint Martin de Castillon and Les Joncquiers (D48) to the left. Turn to the D48. After 1,2 km you come to a small crossroads. Go to the right in the direction of Hameau “les Joncquiers”, Camping. Now it's only 800 meters to the entrance of the camping. At the entrance of the hameau (hamlet) turn to the left at the sign …… Welcome!!!! |
Route description from Sisteron Take the N100/D900 in the direction of Apt and drive through Cereste and the hamlet La Bégude. When you see a sign for Saint Martin de Castillon D48 to the right YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS TURN! (you would get caught in the small streets of the village) So you're still driving on the N100/D900. 500 meters after you pass the hotel “Lou Caleů” on the right you will see a second sign for Saint Martin de Castillon, Les Joncquiers (D48). Here you turn right onto the D48. For the rest of the description see the route above. |
